Area 50 Inc. is a digital media agency based in Burlington. They provide web sites and complex solutions, product launch marketing, and extended online learning systems. I have a four year working relationship with them which began with an internal branding exercise.

With a rehashing of their existing logo and new type treatments, their new image was ready for the light of day. The company had always had an affinity with the extra terrestrial. The brand character imagined and grown throughout the years was one of science fiction and mystery, "out of this world solutions". But the new treatment and look took this motif and refined it, toning it down to a more discrete and aesthetic feel. Refocusing the brand character more and more on design and quality while still maintaining a hint of reaching for the stars. Throughout the years the brand has continued to evolve and exude more quality than kitsch.
